Psalms 94:14-15

” For the Lord will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance. But judgment will return to righteousness, And all the upright in heart will follow it.” (Psalms 94:14-15 NKJV #Bible

It’s interesting how we think it’s just getting worse and worse. Yet here God is saying judgement will return to the righteous. With judgement in the hands of the righteous, life is good. Righteous judgement means God will not cast is off, or forsake us, whom God declares us to be His inheritance. So we don’t need to worry about what’s going on today, like it will be this way for the rest of our lives. We just need to stay righteous, and that is accomplished by staying in relationship with our Father God and listen to what He has spoken through His Son Jesus being empowered by our companion the Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 8:17-18

” then you say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.’ And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” (Deuteronomy 8:17-18 NKJV) #Bible

It amazes me at how easily I take credit for my accomplishments. And I’m usually correcting myself remembering, or being reminded by God. I like God prospering me to establish His covenant. I know He’s not doing so on His part, but establishing His covenant on my part. I’m the one who needs work, God’s work is finished. Thank You Father.

Psalms 145:18-19

” The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.” (Psalms 145:18-19 NKJV) #Bible

The Lord is always near to us, that is who call upon Him in truth. God knows our heart and deception is useless, He knows. When we come to our Lord in Truth, He will fulfill our desires or delight’s. Fearing God is to recognize honestly who He is. So it’s important to have an accurate knowledge of who He is. That means we need the Bible, the Word of God, studying it diligently and talking to our Lord all the time. Remember Our Lord is always near to those who call upon Him in truth.

Psalms 100:4-5

” Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.”       (Psalms 100:4-5 NKJV) #Bible

As I look back at my relationship with my Lord and I see all of God’s interaction with me and in my life. This Psalm expresses just how I feel on my way into the sanctuary. On my way to worship the True and Living God. I am thankful for His Goodness, and His Everlasting Mercy found in Jesus, and His Truth enduring to all generations. God is Wonderful.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

” All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV)  #Bible

Words like “thoroughly” and “every” leads me to understand nothing else is available or needed. We are totally prepared for “good” works. Our Lord equips us perfectly for the task at hand. We are inspired continually in all facets of equipping, including reproach and correction. God’s Word is the complete tune-up for God’s Children, even in doctrine and righteousness. We can trust God completely while in our task to have everything we need including God’s presence for confort.

Isaiah 43:2

” When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.”  #Bible

I would recommend you read this chapter. This is a big “I Live You” from God. This verse is the heart of God’s Loving care for Israel and Jacob. And the chapter includes implications of salvation even for the Body of Christ. God’s Love is Perfect and Complete to those who are called into relationship with Him even through His Son Jesus the Messiah.

Proverbs 13:20

” He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed.” (Proverbs 13:20 NKJV)  #Bible

This makes sense, but looking a little closer you see that just walking with wise men will make you wise. While committing to be a companion to fools, the best reward is destruction. It makes me wonder if I committed to be a companion to the wise, what would be my reward? God is Good.
