Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. #Bible

All joy be yours in the Lord at all times, be full of cheer, be calmly happy, be well, or be well off. These are a few renderings of how this word “rejoice” is used in the Bible.
When something is repeated it exemplifies the seriousness and importance or urgency of what’s said.
So if we are focusing horizontally on our life’s issues instead of vertically on Jesus. Then we don’t see our position in this world.
The Apostle Paul reminds us here that we need to plug into Jesus to remember who we are in Christ then rejoice and again rejoice some more, and more. We are on our way to eternity with our God, that’s worth rejoicing.
